i placed an order on sept 1st 2020 order number w246394**** i called customer service to cancel the order on set 5th i receive an email that stated the order was canceled i still have the email to prove it . my bank acct was charged $159.30 on 9/8/2020 then another charge for $159.30 on 9/10/2020 im not paying for the candles that i canceled and never received them..I spoke with some one thursday night at the customer service phone number and she told me her computer was not working so she needs to call me back in 24 hours..... not very happy right now being charged $318.60 out of my bank acct.!!!! when im not working !!!

Candles burnt black!!

I have use Yankee candles for years and never had a candle burn black like this todayI would like a coupon for a couple candles to replace the ones that were bad or else I will not be buying any more candles from your company thank you for your help

Very disappointed that my entire order (placed 12/3, the day before candle day) was CANCELLED!! Because things are out of stock!! They were in stock when I placed my order!! These were Xmas presents....I've never had a company entirely cancel an order either - what about leaving the order in the queue and notify me of the backorder so when they are back in stock I would be in line to get those items!! This makes no sense and I am very disappointed in Yankee Candle for this occurring right before Xmas!

Same thing is happening to me. I have tried to order something 5 times now only for it to be canceled by them.

Things in Stock suddenly out of stock and then restocked and the cycle repeats.

Now I am waiting for a free candle to make up for the hassle...and it has been in the warehouse for over a week. Horrible business practice.

Poor customer service!!!!!

called last week because I needed help with an order. I had a coupon buy 2or3 and get the same amount free for the big jars, The order would not take the coupon. So I called customer service and after a long wait the person told me that she couldn't take my card over the phone because she was working from home. So, someone would call me back. I waited for 2 days and no one called me back. I called again today and the same thing happened!!!! The gal told me someone would call me back in 25-30 minutes. That was at 9:30AM Central time. No one called me back again!!!!!!!!!!! I have a small business and if I tell someone I am going to do something, I FOLLOW THROUGH!!! Pat Atwell 712-323-****

Yankee Candle customer service has reached an all-time low. I placed three large orders for gifts for family, employees and clients. Over a thousand dollars in value. I've received zero communication or response about why my orders are languishing "in the warehouse" with no updates or ways to find out if items are out (websites says in stock!!!), will they be replenished, etc. Meanwhile I have no idea if/when I will received my orders. Unreal.

I JUST GOT THE ADD FOR CHRISTMAS IN THE MAIL AND LAUGHED. THESE CANDLES USED TO BE MY Favorite AND SPECIAL. THEY DO NOT EVEN SMELL WHEN BURNING. I HAVE SWITCHED TO BATH AND BODY. LAST YEAR WE BOUGHT 12 AT THE HOLIDAYS AND SO Disappointed!

I just put in an order and it's $6.00 over. Why is that?

I ordered 8 candles at $9.00 each. Sale going on today. Total came to $114.75. Should be $108.75. I Dont understand where the extra $6.00 is from.

Scent & wick

I bought a yankee candle cranberry/chutney when lite you cant even smell it. I also bought a woodwick and as its burning the wax is covering the wick and burning incorrectly, I have purchased many products of yours over the years and this is the first time Ive ever been disappointed. The WORST customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Trying to reach a supervisor for over 3 weeks now. All I get is a run around regarding my returns! Horrible customer service. Will never recommend

Serious injury from broken candle jar

They sent me an email asking how they could help me. I asked for compensation for my Copay for my ER visit and a gift card . Haven't heard anything else than some discount coupon I'm not interested in.

Last Saturday night I received a serious gash on the bottom of my right foot after my Yankee Candle rolled off a table and had a piece of sharp broken glass sticking out on the top edge. I didn't realize it feel to the carpet and stepped on it requiring 8 sutures on the bottom of my right foot. It was quite a painful procedure that required at least 6-8 Lidocaine shots in the bottom of my foot to numb it. In about 5 days if all remains normal the sutures can be removed. Wondering if there could be a metal rim placed on the neck of the jar so it's less apt to break so easily and cause an injury.

I ordered a lot of candles on sale. They emailed saying we were unable to ship one or more items. They canceled ALL but one candle! No explanation in email. I called and they said candles were out of stock. But when I checked their site, sure as *** they show in stock! They just didn't want to sell them for the $6.63 price they had on them! FALSE ADVERTISING! Then they wasted a bunch of my time with emails saying they would make it right, asking me a bunch of info about my order, saying someone would call me to reorder. Weeks later...crickets. *** Shady business I will STAY AWAY from. NEVER shopping there again.
