I recently saw a coupon that said 10 dollars off 10, 50 dollars off 50 and said can be used in stores or this promo code online but not at the outlet or on sale items! Well I tried and tried and it was only taking off a percent.

I emailed them and said I was wrong but I had done investigating on this deal through Facebook. I heard that they had made a mistake but were honoring it to some so once the worker emailed me back she stated it was a invalid coupon but if this were true 1- why would it work 2- how were others able to do this in store? I also heard a employee made the boo boo and was fired. It isn't my problem and to the folks that did get the coupon they should honor it.

The lady had the same coupon corrected and stated it said percent but if I had the dollar one it was wrong. Again not my problem. So needless to say She didn't fix my problem. If I go to Walmart and they price something wrong guess what I am getting that price M it just really irrated me as many as my family member has bought with zero coupons.

She has a whole cabinet of them! She could of at least gave me a better deal than what she was trying to do!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Yankee Candle Cons: Rudewould not honor it.

Good grief, where do I even start with this one?

First of all .. if you see a coupon on Facebook, there is a 99.99% likelihood that it's fake.

When you click the link to redeem the coupon or get the code, any or all of the following are going to happen:

a] Your Facebook profile will be hijacked;

b] Your computer will be hijacked

c] Your personal info will be stolen once A & B have been accomplished

Read this next statement CAREFULLY .... WHEN A COMPANY IS THE VICTIM OF FAKE COUPONS BEING SENT OUT, THEY ARE NOT UNDER ANY OBLIGATION TO HONOR THEM!!! And as for your "having heard that some people were being allowed to use the coupon" ... I can assure you that did NOT happen.

Here's the thing - Yankee Candles are generally priced from $25 down to $5 .. and the ONLY time you're likely to see them on sale is around the beginning of Fall and Thanksgiving/Christmas .. and even then, you're only likely to see around a 10% savings. Now if the most expensive candle is around $25 what in h.e.l.l.

makes you think that they're going to issue a coupon that not only gives a candle away for FREE, but then give you the price of their most expensive candle on TOP of that?? And to millions of people??

They'd be out of business by the end of the day. Before you start believing a bunch of Facebook BS and then publicly chastise a company for not honoring FAKE coupons, use some common sense and do some homework because your post here makes you look REALLY stupid.
